Sci-Fi Expo Fan Days, Dallas, Texas
Oct. 8-9, 2011
This was my first visit to this huge sci-fi, comic and pop culture
event. It was held at the brand new Irving Convention Center.
On Saturday, I joined author Paul Black to sign books.
We meet several science fiction fans.
In fact, some of them were very interesting...uh...people?
Sunday, I had the pleasure of meeting Timothy Zahn, author of
several of my favorite Star Wars novels, including Heir to the
Empire, Dark Force Rising and The Last Command.
I also got to know our next door neighbor, Steve Ayers.
He's the author of the sci-fi adventure novel Stranded.
Great book! I strongly suggest you check it out.
