RELATED STORY NEWS:

My story "Cure" to be a (sorta) major motion picture

EXCITING NEWS! My short story "Cure" (published in Hint Fiction ) will be one of ten stories included in the 2011 Hint Fiction Film Contest. Filmmakers will turn those stories into films one-minute (or less) in length. The films will then compete at the 2012 Vail Film Festival. The panel of judges will include such noteworthy pros as director Kevin Smith.

It will be very interesting to see what someone does with my story. You never know, if it wins in Vail, maybe they'll take it even further. Hello, Oscars!! To learn more about the contest, go to hintfictionfilm.com.

"Cure" has also been immortalized in art

This is VERY cool. The Columbia Art League in Missouri held an exhibit of 70 pieces inspired by the 25-word stories from the book Hint Fiction. My story, "Cure," was one of them.
See the photo of the sculpture created by artist Lawrence L'Horte by clicking on the thumb on the right. Read an article about the exhibit here.

Paramourtal Nominated for Best Romance Anthology

The paranormal romance collection I co-edited, Paramourtal, which includes my story "Rain," was nominated by The Romance Reviews for Best Romance Anthology. Needless to say, everyone who worked on the book is thrilled by the nomination.
